Newcastle United head coach, Eddie Howe has explained why his team defeated Paris Saint-Germain 4-1 in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League tie. Howe watched as goals from Miguel Almiron, Dan Burn, Sean Longstaff and Fabian Schar gave Newcastle the win over PSG at St. James’ Park. Speaking after the game, Howe suggested Newcastle won against PSG because his players gave a brilliant display against the French Ligue 1 giants.According to him, Newcastle players pressed Luis Enrique’s side and were successful a couple of times. “We are really pleased. It was a brilliant effort from the players,” Howe told CBS Sports. “It was a different game.
