 BREAKING: injury for Arda Güler 



Real Madrid official statement on Arda Güler 🇹🇷


After the tests carried out on our player Arda Güler, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the internal meniscus of his right knee. The player will travel to Madrid in the next few hours to continue with specific treatment.Madrid confirmed the 18-year-old had been diagnosed with an injury to the internal meniscus of his right knee.


He will undergo a platelet rich plasma injection and if this is not successful in treating the problem, he will require surgery.


Upcoming training sessions will be framed as a conservative treatment to test how he responds and how the injury evolves.


No timeframe has been given for his return to action.


Guler will leave the club’s pre-season tour in the United States and return to Madrid on Saturday to continue his treatment.


Madrid initially reported the injury to just be an overload issue but it has transpired to be more serious.


The Turkey international sustained the injury in training during Madrid’s U.S tour and has not been able to train with the group since.

Madrid played preseason match with Barcelona on 29th July 2023. It ended with a 3-0 win in favor of Barcelona.
